Where to start?

We had no idea where to even begin to research on adoption. If you google "adoption", there are so many options that it can get overwhelming.

One day, the hubs was thumbing through a Leisure Learning catalog and saw a class on about adoption, title Foster Care & Adoption: Navigating the Process. The summary stated it would be an overview of what's involved in providing foster care or adopting. We were thinking, that'd be great information to receive and it's a free class. When we did sit in the class, unfortunately, it was an hour long advertisement for this specific agency. We were able to gather some information from the class but it was not what we were hoping for.

The following week, I called Catholic Charities to see if they were able to help us. After some discussion, we were able to conclude international adoptions was the way we were needing to go.
